Pearl & Sons
Pearl & Sons founder, Judah Pearl, was raised in rural Tennessee where he learned woodworking from his father and other local artisans at a young age. His first piece of handmade furniture was an antique reproduction of his grandmother’s china cabinet, where he learned that attention to detail and patience is what gives furniture that unique, handcrafted feel.
Originally founded in Memphis, Tennessee as Pearl and Sons Construction, by Judah’s father Robert Pearl, the philosophy behind this family owned business was to teach his sons a trade they could carry with them forever.
For Judah, creating furniture is an intimate process. From the design stage and wood selection to applying a hand finish, taking our clients ideas and bringing them to life is what we do. Unlike large manufacturers, Pearl & Sons uses the details of the wood to compliment the overall feel of the piece, ensuring that you never have to sacrifice beauty for durability.
